Why I Fail

I fail at keeping up a blog because I don't have the attention span to keep writing. Sorry.

Christmas Carols

Sooo... I didn't post for a while because my blog was wrongfully identified as a "spam blog" and they decided to make it so I couldn't write new posts for a while. But whatevs, because I've been way too busy to write anything meaningful anyway.
November is over and in a way so is the year. I mean, there's less than a month left in 2008, and that makes me incredibly happy. I want this year to be over, because it's sucked worse than any other year of my life ever. But enough of that. It's December and now there are Christmas Carols. These things make my life just that much better. They play constantly when I'm in the car with my mom, and I love them! Except the one about the shoes and the dying mother... I don't like that one.
In recent news: I've become addicted to YouTube. It's a problem, one that I am not actively working to fix. Ummm... I'm riding two ponies- Petey and Laa Laa. They are fabulous. I'm starting tumbling lessons next week so I can try out for cheerleading next year. That's about it.
Okay, okay, enough about that and back to the topic at hand. We were discussing Christmas Carols. The worst are the really sad ones. Because who wants to listen to a sad Christmas song? I hate a lot of the slow ones, too. The 'classics', I guess. My favorites include Santa Baby, Dominic the Donkey, White Christmas (the Neil Diamond version), Don't They Know it's Christmastime and Feliz Navidad. These are fantastic songs. They greatly outnumber the bad songs. There are also some more interesting Christmas songs out there. There's a couple I like that I've heard once or twice, that I have no idea of the names and/or where to find them. But if you go here, there's a good chance you'll find something different, if that's what you're into.

It's Early In the Morning!

I'm sitting here watching a strange French movie about a gay guy with cancer. Pretty sure he just died on the beach. It's like Total Eclipse. Except not. Because Total Eclipse was at least in English... this movie is in French. Ugh. It's called Time to Leave. We've also watched the South Park movie and now Bobby is on. Lindsay Lohan and Elijah Wood were making out for like, two seconds, and now it's boring. Movies are great- they kind of define my existence. They're even better after drinking Monster, which my dad says is like doing speed. I love movies. The Prestige is about to be on, and Spiderman 3 is on. That was a bad movie. The other ones were good, but #3 sucked. Atonement should be on soon, and that movie was really good. But I don't feel like watching it right now. Instead we are watching another weird movie entitled Introducing the Dwights. It's odd. I think this guy may be gay, too. This is possibly the most confusing movie ever made. My stomach hurts. Movies are awesome. They should be worshipped. MOVIEEEEESSS. woohooo, yay! Here is a list of movies that I need to see again or for the first time. the ones with stars are the ones I've seen.

I Guess It's November

And that changes everything- I mean, we've been in school two whole months now. The first quarter is over, which is huge, because that means one fourth of the year has passed by way too quickly. November is change, always has been and always will be. It's the election, it's the time change, it's the start of things, for real this time. My list of things for November looks something like this:
1. Destinations application due 14th
2. Two government projects and an Algebra project due
3. Thanksgiving is the 27th
4. My sister is riding in a horse show on the 21st
5. My mom is going on vacation on the 14th
6. Election on the 4th
7. Start saving money for Christmas
8. NHS induction
9. Get a job
10. Get my permit
11. Get winter clothing
12. Oliver is starting
13. NaNoWriMo*
14. Remember to get new contact lenses

that's it for now...

*NaNoWriMo- National Novel Writing Month. I'm writing a novel! It has to be at least 50,000 words and you may ONLY write in the month of November. I'm excited. 966 words written today. I'll post the thing when I'm done with it, if it's any good.
